Part-time accounting internship in a public-sector environment, offering practical experience and formal recognition toward CPA certification.
Responsabilidades
- Apply accounting directives in line with government accounting standards and Chief Accountant guidance
- Support financial statement preparation, periodic analytical reviews, working papers, and external auditor coordination
- Assist with period-end closing, depreciation, revaluations, general ledger account maintenance, item code approvals, and cash account management
- Perform internal control activities, including inventory valuation reviews, cash counts, and investigation of material discrepancies
- Support fixed asset management, including capitalization, disposals, and depreciation committee decisions
- Assist with in-depth and periodic audits
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or current Accounting student expected to complete the degree and CPA examinations within the coming year
- Detail-oriented and committed to professional development
