Lead the architectural modernization and AWS cloud migration of a mission-critical healthcare informatics backend platform. Improve reliability, scalability, and long-term platform evolution while serving as a technical authority across engineering and product teams.
Responsabilidades
- Define and drive backend architecture modernization and cloud migration
- Shape long-term cloud architecture and platform strategy
- Lead architectural transformation of a complex healthcare informatics system
- Collaborate with backend engineering, DevOps, security, product management, and technical leadership
- Provide technical direction and mentor senior engineers
- Drive improvements in reliability, scalability, performance, and observability
- Influence cross-functional architectural decisions and modern engineering practices
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
- At least 7 years of backend software engineering experience covering architecture, infrastructure, networking, or reliability
- Proven software architecture experience with hands-on architectural modernization
- Experience migrating complex on-premises systems to AWS
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability design
- Enterprise experience with C++, C#, or Java
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and messaging systems
- Deep understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle
- Experience with system reliability, performance tuning, and observability
Se valora
- Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments
- Healthcare, PACS, or medical imaging systems experience
- AWS architecture certification
- Legacy enterprise platform modernization experience
