Join a global digital insurance platform as a hands-on Backend Software Architect. You will define the architectural direction across engineering squads while contributing to complex backend development. The role is based in central Tel Aviv on a hybrid schedule with two work-from-home days per week
Responsabilidades
- Define the overall backend architecture and long-term technical vision
- Design scalable distributed infrastructure and maintain the technical roadmap
- Establish microservice patterns, engineering best practices, code quality standards, and performance optimization practices
- Lead cross-functional architecture and design reviews
- Guide senior engineering teams and drive complex technical decisions
- Contribute hands-on to high-impact backend software development
Requisitos
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or Technical Lead Architect
- At least 8 years of hands-on backend software development experience
- Production-grade experience with Node.js and/or NestJS
- Expertise in high-scale distributed systems, microservices, and cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with API design, asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, and high-performance SQL or NoSQL databases
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-team communication skills
