Open Kinetics is hiring a hands-on Senior Mechanical Engineer to own the development of compact, rugged electromechanical products for defense applications. The role covers the full product lifecycle from concept through prototyping, qualification, and production.
Responsabilidades
- Own mission-critical mechanical products from concept through prototyping, qualification, and production.
- Design compact mechanisms, moving elements, and rugged electronic packaging.
- Engineer and test sealing solutions for shock, vibration, impact, and extreme temperatures.
- Assemble and troubleshoot product prototypes.
- Lead mechanical and environmental qualification testing.
Requisitos
- At least 8 years of hands-on mechanical R&D and product development experience.
- High proficiency with SolidWorks and PDM.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, design for manufacturing, and design for test.
- Practical experience with CNC and additive manufacturing.
- Willingness to work hands-on in a multidisciplinary R&D environment.
