An industrial company is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician to manage bills of materials, support engineering changes, identify component alternatives, and provide technical support to development, procurement, and production teams.
Responsabilidades
- Create, update, and maintain BOMs in the ERP system.
- Prepare BOMs for transferring products from development to production.
- Identify technically suitable alternatives for components and raw materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to find available and cost-effective alternatives.
- Support development, production, procurement, and operations departments.
- Process engineering changes, including ECO and ECN updates.
- Verify product data accuracy in information systems.
- Prepare reports and analyses to support management decisions.
- Improve material availability and operational efficiency.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Technician qualification is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar industrial role.
- Proven experience preparing and managing bills of materials (BOMs).
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly drawings.
- Good English proficiency.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and systems-thinking abilities, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
