Lead the mechanical engineering function and provide technical direction for complex electro-mechanical medical device development across the product lifecycle.
Responsabilidades
- Lead the mechanical engineering domain and provide technical direction across the product lifecycle
- Design complex electro-mechanical systems from concept and CAD through prototyping, integration, and production
- Collaborate with hardware, software, algorithms, systems, and quality teams on system integration
- Lead a multidisciplinary R&D squad, set priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver milestones
- Perform hands-on mechanical design and development using SolidWorks
- Lead verification and validation, reliability testing, test-jig development, root-cause analysis, and engineering changes
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and system-level challenges and drive effective solutions
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- Significant hands-on mechanical R&D experience
- Strong electro-mechanical and system-level expertise
- Experience providing technical or team leadership
- Strong SolidWorks and computer-aided design skills
- Experience with machining, sheet metal, and 3D printing
- Experience with verification and validation, reliability testing, root-cause analysis, and engineering change orders
Se valora
- Medical device or healthcare technology experience
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485 and FDA requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
