Take full professional responsibility for production processes in a medical device manufacturing surface-treatment department. Own process performance, stability, quality, compliance, optimization, and engineering project delivery across prosthetics and implant production lines.
Responsabilidades
- Manage and optimize production processes for prosthetics and implants, including degreasing, anodizing, aging, passivation, hardening, and trommel operations.
- Ensure process stability, quality, and compliance throughout production.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, validation protocols, and operator training materials.
- Analyze process data to support decision-making and process control.
- Work with the maintenance department on troubleshooting and training.
- Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation.
- Drive transfers from research and development into production in alignment with engineering direction.
- Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Identify and integrate new technologies and equipment to improve performance and efficiency.
- Provide backup support for the implants line process engineer when required.
Requisitos
- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering.
- At least two years of experience in the medical industry, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or medicines.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, cleaning systems, surface treatments, and packaging.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
- Experience leading engineering projects and integrating new technologies.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to train and guide production teams.
