Lead system- and board-level management architecture for SmartNIC platforms and next-generation data center infrastructure. Define lifecycle, provisioning, update, recovery, reset, security, and telemetry flows across NIC ASICs, BMCs, MCUs, CPUs, CPLDs, and peripheral components.
Responsabilidades
- Define production, provisioning, update, recovery, and reset flows for SmartNIC platforms.
- Align board-level architecture with platform-level requirements across NIC ASICs, BMCs, CPUs, and peripherals.
- Specify security provisioning, secure boot, attestation key injection, certificate management, key derivation, component locking, and post-quantum cryptography requirements.
- Specify MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, and NC-SI implementations for secure boot, firmware updates, and telemetry.
- Define CPLD logic, power sequencing, and reset orchestration for multi-host and standalone environments.
- Architect PCIe, I2C/I3C, USB, and SPI communication pathways for in-band and out-of-band management.
- Collaborate with production, hardware, firmware, driver, and QA teams to implement and test the architecture.
- Author technical specifications, architectural documents, and test plans for development and factory production.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience architecting or debugging SmartNIC boards, chassis, network trays, or comparable computing and networking systems.
- Hands-on expertise with BMCs, MCUs, CPUs, and complex networking ASICs.
- Strong knowledge of MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, and NC-SI.
- Deep familiarity with I2C, I3C, SPI, USB, and PCIe architectures, including link states and reset mechanisms.
- Ability to write precise technical specifications, state-machine descriptions, sequence diagrams, and test plans.

- Experience with Redfish APIs and out-of-band network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of hardware root of trust and secure boot architectures.
- Experience packaging PLDM firmware update bundles or implementing update agents.
- Experience with production tooling, factory provisioning, and manufacturing test flows.
- Background in networking, SmartNIC data-plane or offload operations, or high-speed data center topologies.
