Lead hardware architecture, development, verification, and integration for avionics systems comprising electronic units, boards, and firmware. The role involves supplier oversight and collaboration across software, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams.
Responsabilidades
- Define hardware architectures for avionics systems containing electronic units, boards, and firmware
- Manage and lead hardware development performed by subcontractors
- Develop requirements, technical specifications, and statements of work
- Lead hardware design reviews
- Manage development, testing, and integration work plans
- Coordinate interfaces with software, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams
- Lead HALT and qualification testing for hardware
- Participate in system integration activities and trials
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience developing and integrating hardware boards and electronic units
- Demonstrated ability to define hardware architectures at project level
- Knowledge of SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS-422, and MIL-STD-1553 hardware interfaces
- Experience managing subcontractors
