Lead mechanical systems design and development for commercial aircraft conversion and upgrade programs, from new modifications through serial production and certification.
Responsabilidades
- Lead mechanical systems design for aircraft conversion and upgrade programs.
- Lead development of new conversions and support serial conversion programs.
- Perform analyses, calculations, simulations, and tests for integrated mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
- Define system requirements and technical specifications.
- Evaluate alternatives to optimize weight, cost, and risk.
- Define and support prototype development tests.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical design disciplines, customers, system suppliers, and engineering subcontractors.
- Support aviation certification processes with multiple regulatory authorities.
Requisitos
- A degree in mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering.
- High-level English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a demanding environment.
Se valora
- A degree in systems engineering.
- At least five years of experience designing mechanical systems.
- Extensive experience working with Boeing or Airbus aircraft maintenance documentation.
- Experience in systems engineering or project management.
- Familiarity with aircraft systems and development processes.
