Seeking a senior mechanical engineer to develop optomechanical products from concept to serial production, designing for extreme environmental conditions. Responsible for plastic injection molding, PCB packaging, and cable harness design.
Responsabilidades
- Lead engineering development of new optomechanical products from concept to serial production
- Design military systems for severe environmental conditions including extreme temperatures, shocks, and submersion
- Design plastic injection molded parts using composite materials
- Perform PCB packaging and design with familiarity with board-level electronic components
- Design flexible cable harnesses
- Collaborate with industrial designers and optical engineers
Requisitos
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in mechanical development
- At least 3 years of experience in optomechanics, including packaging optical elements
- Proficiency in manufacturing technologies such as CNC machining, die casting, and investment casting
- Full proficiency in SolidWorks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
