A higher-education institution in Ashdod is seeking a full-time engineer to manage the technical and operational activities of its electrical and electronics engineering laboratories.
Responsabilidades
- Manage the technical and engineering activities of the department’s laboratories.
- Manage, train, and support technical staff.
- Train laboratory staff and students.
- Support students and instructors with engineering and research projects.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Manage laboratory safety, including risk-management procedures under institutional safety policy.
- Procure laboratory equipment and supplies from various vendors.
- Manage the laboratory storeroom and inventory.
- Participate in the institution’s operational safety committee.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the department head.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering is required.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of developing and producing educational experimental systems.
- Experience with electronic testing and measurement equipment.
- Knowledge of various simulation software tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot existing equipment.
- Fluent Hebrew and English.
- Experience working in a computerized environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication and service skills.
- Flexibility in working hours during high-pressure periods.
