A health technology company is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to join a small, agile R&D team. The role focuses on building backend infrastructure, user interfaces, and real-time systems for high-frequency biosensor data. The engineer will own features from inception through production and use
Responsabilidades
- Design and optimize low-latency pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing live biometric data streams.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Build real-time communication layers with WebSockets, Socket.IO, or Redis publish-subscribe.
- Manage PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and time-series or streaming data requirements.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot responsibly to accelerate development.
- Own features end-to-end within a small, agile R&D team.
Requisitos
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with event-driven or real-time architectures, including WebSockets or publish-subscribe systems.
- Strong backend development skills with Node.js and TypeScript or Python.
- Practical experience using AI coding tools while maintaining code quality.
- Experience building REST APIs for web applications.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows.

- Experience with NestJS.
- Experience with time-series data or high-throughput IoT or wearable data.
- Experience with AWS services such as ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Experience working at a small startup and owning features from inception to production.
