Responsabilidades
- Own complex initiatives from business problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and production performance.
- Build and improve backend services, customer-facing products, internal platforms, data flows, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Use modern AI development tools to explore, build, debug, and deliver software efficiently while validating all output.
- Influence technical direction and contribute to architectural and engineering decisions.
- Improve code quality, system design, reliability, testing, observability, and development practices.
- Identify missing requirements, edge cases, risks, and better solutions proactively.
- Make engineering trade-offs based on customer and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineers, product, design, operations, and leadership, including through constructive disagreement.
Requisitos
- Typically 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with emphasis on the complexity and quality of owned work.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building and operating complex production systems.
- Proven end-to-end ownership of products or systems from ambiguity to successful production use.
- Strong product and business judgment with the ability to make practical engineering trade-offs.
- Fluency with AI development tools, combined with thorough review, testing, and engineering accountability.
- Broad technical ability across technologies and application layers.
- Clear, constructive communication and effective collaboration with engineering, product, design, operations, and leadership.
- High standards, pragmatism, resourcefulness, intellectual honesty, and willingness to challenge assumptions.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, or GCP is useful but not required.
