Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, High-Speed DSP

Lead the architecture and development of low-level firmware and adaptive DSP control systems for high-speed physical-layer communications silicon. The role may be based in Sunnyvale, Haifa, or Tel Aviv.
Responsabilidades
- Define the long-term firmware roadmap and hardware-software partitioning for physical-layer interfaces.
- Architect monitoring and diagnostics systems for link health, bit error rates, and channel quality.
- Design and implement bare-metal or RTOS firmware for high-speed transceivers, adaptive control loops, clock and data recovery, and physical-layer calibration.
- Collaborate with systems, networking software, and high-performance computing teams on silicon firmware integration.
- Identify and reduce hardware-software interface bottlenecks involving register maps, driver latency, and boot sequencing.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in embedded systems or firmware, communications systems engineering, or DSP development.
- Experience developing C/C++ embedded software for high-speed PHY interfaces, digital transceivers, or communications subsystems.
Se valora
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Expertise in forward error correction and advanced modulation schemes.
- Experience defining firmware frameworks, register maps, and silicon lifecycle telemetry.
- Deep knowledge of wireless communications, channel modeling, noise mitigation, and digital transceiver architectures.
