Join a defense-technology company developing autonomous maritime systems. Design, implement, test, and deploy production robotics software across perception, planning, navigation, and control.
Responsabilidades
- Design and implement software across the robotics stack, including perception, state estimation, motion planning, navigation, and control.
- Integrate cameras, IMUs, encoders, actuators, and other hardware interfaces.
- Improve autonomy robustness for real-world operating conditions.
- Develop simulation, testing, logging, and data-replay tools.
- Diagnose timing, latency, calibration, and edge-case issues on physical hardware.
- Write maintainable, well-tested production code and participate in design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and product teams to define requirements and deploy features.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Three to five years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial robotics work.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2.
- Understanding of coordinate frames and transforms, kinematics, sensor fusion, and at least one of perception, motion planning, or control.
- Experience debugging real hardware, interpreting logs, and reasoning about timing and real-time constraints.
- Ability to own technical problems end to end and collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
Se valora
- Experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or another robotics simulator.
- Background in SLAM, EKF/UKF state estimation, path planning, or trajectory optimization.
- Experience with real-time or embedded systems, RTOS, microcontrollers, or low-latency control loops.
- Exposure to computer vision or machine learning for perception, including OpenCV, PyTorch, or point-cloud processing.
- Experience taking robotics products from prototype through field deployment.
- Familiarity with Docker and deploying software to fleet hardware.
