Develop PHY-layer firmware for next-generation networking devices, collaborating with architecture, hardware, software, and chip design teams across development stages.
Responsabilidades
- Design and develop PHY-layer firmware for networking devices
- Enable new SerDes and physical linkup flows
- Define, implement, and maintain firmware algorithms controlling silicon
- Develop and test firmware in emulation and simulation environments during pre-silicon development
- Debug and triage hardware, firmware, and software issues
- Participate in silicon bring-up and software development
- Collaborate with architecture, hardware, software, and chip design teams
- Lead data-driven discussions about product functionality and improvements
Requisitos
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in C programming
- Embedded firmware debugging and difficult-problem triage experience
- Experience working with interrupts and dynamic environments
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Se valora
- Python and MATLAB proficiency
- Understanding of SerDes operation
- Experience developing physical layers for communication protocols
- Knowledge of hardware/software development processes
- Ability to guide and influence collaboratively
