Develop and maintain embedded software platforms that interface with automotive hardware and support the deployment of autonomous-driving applications. This full-time role is based in Herzliya, Israel, with hybrid office and remote work.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for autonomous-vehicle platforms.
- Create hardware abstractions and APIs that reduce platform-specific application customization.
- Integrate sensors and compute hardware with the embedded software stack.
- Implement and optimize device drivers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements and integrate software with autonomous-driving applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues to maintain reliability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
- Track developments in embedded systems and autonomous-vehicle technology.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience developing embedded software, preferably in automotive, autonomous-driving, or robotics environments.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Hands-on experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux, QNX, or an RTOS.
- Understanding of middleware architectures and interprocess communication mechanisms.
- Experience with profiling and tracing tools for diagnosing performance and latency issues.
- Familiarity with hardware abstraction layers and device-driver development.
- Knowledge of sensor technologies such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras and their embedded integration.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
Se valora
- Experience deploying autonomous-vehicle software on commercial automobiles.
- Experience with NVIDIA Drive Orin, Qualcomm 8650/8620, or comparable automotive computing platforms.
- Knowledge of safety-critical software development and automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and MISRA.
