An engineering organization in Israel is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop low-level infrastructure for hard real-time, bare-metal, defense, and space systems.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and maintain drivers and low-level system software in C and C++.
- Implement and maintain communication protocols including UART, SPI, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Develop software for hard real-time, bare-metal, FreeRTOS, and VxWorks environments.
- Analyze, write, and execute system requirements, including unit, integration, and system testing.
- Optimize real-time performance and integrate software with hardware components.
- Collaborate with systems, test, hardware, FPGA, and project engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Produce technical specifications, design documents, and test documentation.
- Support system integration through implementation at customer sites.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electronics engineering, or an exact science is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience developing hard real-time systems.
- Proven software development experience with FreeRTOS.
- Strong systems-level thinking, motivation, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional proficiency in C or C++ is required for the role.
