A defense organization is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop software infrastructure for complex hard real-time embedded systems in the Shfela area of Israel.
Responsabilidades
- Develop and maintain low-level C/C++ software components and drivers.
- Implement and maintain UART, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, and other communication protocols.
- Develop software for hard real-time, Bare Metal, and RTOS environments, including FreeRTOS and VxWorks.
- Create system-level software with direct hardware interaction.
- Analyze and implement system and software requirements.
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing.
- Optimize software performance to meet strict real-time requirements.
- Integrate software and hardware components with Hardware, FPGA, Systems Engineering, and QA teams.
- Support the full lifecycle from requirements and design through integration and deployment.
- Write technical specifications, design documents, and test documentation.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant scientific field.
- Hands-on experience developing hard real-time systems.
- Strong systems-level thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
