Lead a team responsible for infrastructure delivery and operations across customer environments and company-managed data centers. This hands-on role combines technical leadership, team development, project execution, and operational ownership.
Responsabilidades
- Lead and develop deployment and infrastructure engineers, including their professional development, ownership, prioritization, and performance management.
- Own team sprint planning, backlog, priorities, and execution.
- Lead infrastructure projects involving new capabilities, architecture, hardware, networking, and environment expansion.
- Participate in and lead complex infrastructure escalations, and support the group's on-call operation.
- Ensure clear incident ownership, structured troubleshooting, documentation, and effective handovers.
- Maintain technical knowledge of customer environments, networking, servers, firewalls, Kubernetes, and product infrastructure.
- Identify recurring operational issues and improve processes, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting in collaboration with other teams.
- Coordinate work across regions and time zones, and maintain team readiness and coverage.
- Build clear ownership areas and develop engineers' skills across deployment, infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and troubleshooting.
Requisitos
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, deployment engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical role.
- Previous experience leading engineers or providing strong technical leadership.
- Strong Linux and systems administration knowledge.
- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and networking issues.
- Experience with physical servers, hardware, and data-center environments.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting, preferably Python, Bash, or Ansible.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic production environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Fluent English and strong communication skills.
