Join the platform team building and operating reusable AI and data services for an enterprise health platform. This hands-on role spans data science, software engineering, and cloud infrastructure, from design through production support.
Responsabilidades
- Design, build, deploy, measure, and maintain platform services, including APIs, SDKs, user interfaces, and infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize large-scale Spark and EMR data workflows in Airflow, including identity resolution, vendor data integration, and scoring.
- Put foundation models, embedding, classification, and agent services into production with evaluation harnesses to measure model changes.
- Build backend services, web consoles, and SDKs for self-service use by engineers, product teams, and agents; provide user guides and agent playbooks.
- Operate shipped services through monitoring, alerting, retries, and cost tracking; respond to incidents and communicate measured release results.
- Use AI coding agents, review their output, and build services that are accessible to both agents and people.
Requisitos
- At least 4 years of software experience, including shipping and operating production data or AI systems as an individual contributor.
- Experience building and evaluating production models, including tabular models, embeddings, and LLM-based systems.
- Strong Python, SQL, and Spark skills, with experience using AWS data services such as EMR, Athena, Glue, and Iceberg; Airflow; and large-scale data performance optimization.
- Experience building production APIs and services with Python and TypeScript, and enough React to develop internal consoles.
- Experience with AWS, CDK or other infrastructure as code, Docker, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Experience shipping LLM features with evaluation, and using AI coding agents in daily development.
- Ability to scope, design, build, ship, and support services end to end.
