Lead the data infrastructure function for a cybersecurity platform, owning investigation databases, search capabilities, data modeling, performance, reliability, and platform-scale query systems.
Responsabilidades
- Build and lead the data infrastructure team
- Own the infrastructure for the platform’s investigation data layer
- Develop data models, schemas, indexing strategies, and query patterns
- Architect, operate, and scale analytical databases and search infrastructure
- Define data-layer APIs, interfaces, and ownership boundaries with engineering and product teams
- Improve reliability, observability, cost efficiency, and performance across large, multi-tenant security datasets
- Establish standards for schema design, data modeling, query optimization, migrations, backfills, and data-quality monitoring
- Mentor engineers and review technical designs
- Investigate production issues, performance bottlenecks, and complex queries
Requisitos
- Experience leading engineers or serving as a technical lead in data infrastructure, platform, backend infrastructure, or database teams
- Strong background with large-scale analytical databases, data platforms, or search infrastructure
- Expertise in data modeling, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, storage layouts, and performance tradeoffs
- Production experience with ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, OpenSearch, or similar systems
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience designing reliable, scalable, observable, and maintainable systems
- Experience operating production data systems, including monitoring, incident response, capacity planning, cost management, migrations, and backfills
- Ability to define interfaces between platform infrastructure and product engineering teams
- Technical leadership, ownership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration skills

- Production experience with ClickHouse or Elasticsearch
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS data architectures
- Experience with streaming or event-driven ingestion, including Kafka
- Background in cybersecurity or security-data domains
- Experience building a new team or extracting infrastructure ownership from a product team
- Experience supporting analytical or investigation-focused product use cases
