A semiconductor technology company is seeking a senior technical authority to model and define next-generation AI processor architectures. The role combines SystemC modeling, pre-silicon simulation, workload analysis, and end-to-end hardware/software architectural design.
Обязанности
- Model CPU and AI processor functionality and performance using SystemC and pre-silicon simulation environments
- Define concrete architectural solutions, alternatives, and feature proposals
- Partner with hardware and software architects to co-design features and assess cross-stack trade-offs
- Analyze bottlenecks and performance across workloads representing future AI use cases
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations for architectural features and design alternatives
- Potentially lead feature definition alongside modeling responsibilities
Требования
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in VLSI or processor architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with SystemC modeling
- Strong understanding of AI workloads and AI hardware architecture
- Experience with hardware/software co-design and architectural trade-off analysis
- Ability to work at high levels of abstraction and make decisions based on simulation data
- Independent technical judgment and strong problem-solving ability
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills

- CPU, DSP, or GPU processor core architecture experience
- Experience designing AI accelerators or large-scale inference solutions
- Exposure to ISA definition or new instruction design
- Exceptional candidates with less than 10 years of experience may be considered
