A national security technology organization seeks a Senior Software Configuration Manager to administer complex configuration management systems, integrate engineering tools, and support hardware and software lifecycle governance for a large technical program in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
Обязанности
- Administer a complex configuration management system using tools such as IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Eclipse
- Define and implement version control processes, policies, and procedures for hardware and software products
- Support teams in configuring and baselining products and managing configuration items
- Maintain the configuration management environment for software builds, staging, testing, and integration
- Create build scripts and procedures and integrate them with hardware and software build processes
- Recommend and integrate automated configuration management tools
- Implement change control processes and support configuration and engineering review boards
- Deliver configuration management tool training
- Design, code, test, and deliver reports and performance metrics
- Identify and report non-compliance conditions
- Facilitate and perform configuration management audits
- Review and improve configuration management processes
Требования
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent additional experience
- At least 12 years of related experience, including at least 10 years in a senior software configuration management role on a large technical program
- At least 8 years of experience with configuration management tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Eclipse
- Strong knowledge of configuration management best practices
- Experience developing installation procedures and documenting standard configuration settings for hardware and software systems
- Experience delivering software lifecycle solutions in Agile environments
- Experience tracking software, hardware, and configuration status across development, test, and operational environments
- Experience integrating commercial off-the-shelf tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, and OneNote
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
