Lead a small cross-functional team of engineers and UX professionals developing scalable, data-driven products for a transportation intelligence platform. Combine hands-on full-stack engineering with people leadership, project delivery, architecture, testing, and AI-enabled development.
Обязанности
- Lead software development projects and deliver scalable applications using an AI-first approach
- Manage task assignments, work arrangements, team performance, coaching, and career development
- Coordinate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to define and ship platform features
- Maintain delivery schedules and communicate project status to stakeholders
- Apply test-driven and security-driven development practices
- Conduct testing and code reviews to maintain code quality and engineering standards
- Develop prototypes, minimum viable products, and proofs of concept
- Document system architecture and design for maintainability and extension
- Provide technical project leadership and subject-matter guidance
- Participate in strategic initiatives, departmental documentation, and a rotating on-call schedule when applicable
Требования
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4 years of software development experience using object-oriented programming to build scalable applications
- Leadership experience including coaching, development, and performance management of direct reports
- Experience directing or managing UX designers or design functions
- Proficiency with BigQuery, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Full-stack experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Storybook, Node.js, Go, Python, and Git
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
