Lead system architecture, integration, verification, and flight testing for autonomous interceptor and tactical unmanned aircraft programs. The role coordinates multidisciplinary engineering teams and external suppliers from concept development through field integration.
Обязанности
- Define system architecture for interceptor systems, ground control stations, and data links.
- Translate operational needs into system requirements documents and subsystem specifications.
- Own and track system-level size, weight, power, and cost budgets.
- Define and manage physical, electrical, and software interfaces across avionics, guidance and navigation, power, communications, and payload systems.
- Lead technical milestones and formal system design reviews with engineering teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop verification and validation strategies and system test plans.
- Lead laboratory, hardware-in-the-loop, and open-air flight test campaigns.
- Prepare technical statements of work and preliminary specifications for critical suppliers and subcontractors.
Требования
- B.Sc. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of hands-on multidisciplinary systems engineering experience in autonomous drone industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence matrixed engineering teams without direct managerial authority.
