Work on the research, development, optimization, and validation of detector technologies for next-generation computed tomography systems. The role combines experimental physics, simulation, data analysis, image correction, and cross-functional product development in a regulated medical technology##.
Обязанности
- Develop and evaluate CT detector concepts and components
- Model and characterize detector performance, including resolution, noise, dynamic range, spectral response, stability, and dose efficiency
- Design and conduct laboratory and system-level experiments
- Analyze imaging data and detector signals to identify limitations and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate on image correction algorithm design with system image quality teams
- Translate physics requirements into technical specifications with hardware, electronics, software, reconstruction, systems, and manufacturing teams
- Support prototype integration, verification testing, root-cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting
- Investigate detection-related issues in service and production
- Develop test methods, verification protocols, technical reports, and regulatory documentation
- Monitor scientific literature and emerging detector technologies
Требования
- MSc or PhD in Physics; experimental physics is strongly preferred
- Hands-on experimental experience with strong simulation and algorithmic capabilities
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and scientific programming using MATLAB or Python
- Ability to interpret complex technical data and communicate conclusions clearly
- Professional proficiency in English

- Experimental background in radiation detection physics, X-ray interactions, or CT imaging
- Experience in cross-functional research and product development environments
- Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical devices
