Join a multidisciplinary team in Haifa developing and evaluating advanced electro-optical systems for defense applications. Support performance research, physical simulations, image processing, and system testing.
Обязанности
- Support electro-optical system development and evaluation from requirements through delivery
- Perform MATLAB-based numerical calculations for detection, recognition, identification, and signal-to-noise performance research
- Develop and run graphical physical simulations in Unreal Engine to model sensing environments and operational scenarios
- Analyze data and perform computerized image processing for system performance testing and calibration
- Participate in laboratory and field experiments to characterize electro-optical components and test system performance
- Collaborate with algorithms, optics, software, and systems teams
Требования
- Third-year B.Sc. student in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or Computer Engineering, or an M.Sc. student
- At least two years of study remaining
- Availability for at least two full days per week
- Knowledge and experience with MATLAB
- Strong analytical thinking, learning ability, and system-level perspective
- Ability to work independently with commitment and responsibility
