Lead a team of physical-layer firmware engineers supporting PCIe networking products. This hands-on role combines technical debugging, delivery ownership, engineer development, and cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, validation, architecture, and customer engineering.
Обязанности
- Lead and develop a focused physical-layer firmware team as a hands-on player-coach
- Own delivery for PCIe link bring-up, equalization, recovery, and physical-layer customer escalations
- Drive complex issues to root cause and convert point fixes into reusable improvements
- Partner with chip design, architecture, software, validation, and customer engineering teams
- Serve as the technical reference for physical-layer triage and issue classification
- Apply AI tools to debugging, log analysis, and engineering knowledge capture
Требования
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
- At least 8 years of engineering experience, including 3 or more years in engineering management or equivalent technical leadership
- Strong knowledge of PCIe link training, equalization, recovery flows, and cross-generation behavior
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose link issues using state traces and eye diagrams with silicon and signal-integrity engineers
- Experience developing engineers, managing delivery cadence, and prioritizing under constraints
- Clear communication skills across engineering teams, partners, and customers

- Hands-on PCIe link bring-up on real silicon
- Signal integrity, lane margining, or cross-generation interoperability experience
- High-speed SerDes, thermal-sensitive link, or customer escalation experience
- Practical use of AI or machine-learning tools for engineering analysis
- Familiarity with networking products, Linux, Python scripting, and hardware-software boundaries
