Lead a distributed engineering team as a hands-on player-coach. Own delivery, technical quality, team growth, hiring, architecture, and engineering execution for cloud-based SaaS products.
Обязанности
- Lead engineers and own team delivery, development, and professional well-being
- Conduct 1:1s, growth planning, performance reviews, and candid feedback
- Develop future technical and people leaders
- Write and review production code and guide architectural and technical decisions
- Maintain engineering standards, scalable components, and a healthy release process
- Lead AI-augmented engineering practices while maintaining quality standards
- Own commitments, planning, prioritization, roadmap execution, and delivery quality
- Partner with Product and technical stakeholders on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs
- Adapt staffing and priorities as business needs change
- Own hiring, interviewing, coaching, and performance decisions for the team
- Communicate effectively with leadership and collaborate across Product, Design, GTM, and Customer Success
Требования
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management while continuing to code
- Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-based SaaS products in production on AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
- Strong API-first product development mindset
- Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, query optimization, and BigQuery
- Senior-level ability to read, write, and review code in the team’s primary stack
- Track record of improving engineering delivery, technical quality, or team capability
- Strong judgment and direct communication skills
- Clear approach to hiring, coaching, performance management, and technical decision-making
