Lead end-to-end engineering for a global, user-facing AI travel assistant and concierge product. Own technical strategy, delivery, business outcomes, and engineering organization growth in a hybrid Tel Aviv role.

- Lead the engineering product area from initial focused scope through global scale.
- Own technical domains, product delivery, and outcomes including booking volume, conversion, latency, and AI inference costs.
- Guide architecture and implementation of conversational AI systems using LangChain, Nest.js, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, open-source LLMs, and model fine-tuning.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and senior executives to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain engineering and AI talent while developing engineering managers and a high-performing culture.
- Potentially expand leadership scope across data science, model training, mobile, and data teams.
Требования
- At least 12 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 4 years in senior engineering leadership roles managing managers.
- Proven experience developing user-facing AI products, conversational LLMs, and scalable chatbot architectures.
- Strong understanding of backend, AI, mobile, and data systems, with experience owning products end to end.
- Experience delivering high-impact products in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to communicate complex technical strategies to senior executives and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- High emotional intelligence and a track record of building trust, psychological safety, and strong engineering performance.
- Willingness to work at least three days per week from the Tel Aviv office, increasing to four or five days during key periods.
