Experienced technical leader to scale R&D team, drive engineering excellence, and remain hands-on in building a DataOps platform. Lead architecture, processes, and team growth.
Обязанности
- Provide technical leadership through active coding, architectural design, and complex problem-solving.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the R&D engineering team, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Drive ownership, accountability, and a builder mindset across engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and organizational challenges.
- Collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams to align engineering with business goals.
- Optimize engineering processes, methodologies, and tools for growth.
- Reduce leadership load by taking on key initiatives and areas of ownership.
Требования
- 7+ years in software development with at least 3-5 years in engineering leadership.
- Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, and high-performance SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with message queue technologies (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ) for scalable data pipelines.
- Proven experience scaling or building R&D teams in startup environments.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, quick execution, and high accountability.
- Strong ownership and leadership in both management and coding.
- Open communicator with a partner mindset.
Будет плюсом
- Experience building data platforms or tools (ETL, Reverse ETL, Catalog, Observability).
- Cloud mastery, especially AWS, with broad service architecture experience.
- Humility and strong drive to build.
