Lead the long-term imaging and AI innovation strategy for image-guided electrophysiology and structural heart procedures. Direct multidisciplinary research from early concepts through validation, technology maturation, and transfer into product development.
Обязанности
- Define and execute the technology roadmap for advanced imaging and AI-enabled clinical intelligence
- Lead research in ultrasound imaging, computer vision, machine learning, anatomical modeling, procedural guidance, workflow automation, and clinical insight generation
- Identify unmet clinical needs through collaboration with physicians, clinical experts, academic institutions, and industry partners
- Translate clinical insights into technology strategies, research programs, and innovation investments
- Manage external technology collaborations with universities, startups, research institutions, and technology partners
- Lead technology incubation from concept through feasibility, validation, maturation, and transfer to product development
- Partner with product development, systems engineering, clinical, regulatory, quality, and product management teams
- Build and develop a high-performing team of imaging scientists, engineers, algorithm developers, and innovation leaders
- Guide intellectual property creation through invention disclosures, patents, publications, and technology differentiation
- Present technology strategies, research progress, investment recommendations, and business opportunities to executive leadership
Требования
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- At least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in advanced technology development, research, and innovation
- Experience developing and executing technology strategy in imaging, medical devices, artificial intelligence, computer vision, or related fields
- Record of leading multidisciplinary research and technology incubation teams
- Expertise in medical imaging, ultrasound systems, computer vision, or artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Experience transferring early-stage technologies into commercial product development programs
- Track record of building intellectual property portfolios, including patents and invention disclosures
- Experience managing partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and technology collaborators
- Strong executive communication, influencing, and systems-thinking skills

- Advanced degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Experience in electrophysiology, structural heart, cardiovascular imaging, or image-guided interventions
- Expertise in intracardiac echocardiography, ultrasound imaging, and cardiac anatomy
- Experience applying AI and machine learning to medical imaging
- Knowledge of regulatory considerations for AI-enabled medical devices
- Established innovation programs or research collaborations
- Technical leadership in imaging, AI, or medical device communities
