A scaling cybersecurity company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller for a 50% role overseeing accounting operations, reporting, compliance, tax coordination, and financial controls. The position offers substantial ownership and flexibility.
Обязанности
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
- Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany accounting.
- Review revenue recognition for complex customer arrangements under ASC 606.
- Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
- Oversee tax compliance and work with external tax advisors.
- Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Improve accounting processes, reporting, operational efficiency, ERP functionality, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
- Partner with FP&A to align accounting and management reporting.
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, Operations, and other teams on accounting and compliance matters.
- Lead special projects, financial analysis, and other initiatives while identifying issues and driving solutions to completion.
Требования
- Licensed CPA with at least 2–3 years of relevant post-internship experience in an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
- Big Four experience, including completion of a Big Four internship; current or former Big Four Managers are also considered.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Israeli statutory accounting and reporting requirements.
- Experience with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills and analytical ability.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, ownership-driven approach and interest in using AI and automation to improve finance processes.
