Temporary, approximately eight-month controller position within the finance team of an algorithmic trading research company. The role oversees accounting operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, controls, and financial analysis.
Обязанности
- Manage corporate accounting and day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, revenue, and cost accounting.
- Prepare and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and maintain accounting systems.
- Manage regulatory reporting, compliance, government reporting, tax filings, and tax analysis.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
- Provide quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage cash-related activities and constraints.
- Develop and maintain business process, accounting, and internal control policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data and provide key performance indicators.
- Support the audit process.
- Provide financial performance analysis and support to other departments.
Требования
- Certified Public Accountant qualification.
- Cum laude degree in accounting.
- At least four years of accounting and finance experience, including Big Four experience and at least one additional role.
- Excellent English proficiency.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Data analysis proficiency.
- Technical proficiency with accounting software systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Self-directed approach and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
