Join a cloud networking and security company as a Security Research Engineer focused on analyzing network and application behavior and developing content for enterprise security products.
Обязанности
- Research and analyze network and application behavior for cloud security products, including NGFW, CASB, and DLP solutions.
- Lead cross-team projects with Engineering and Product to deliver product outcomes.
- Propose and conduct new research initiatives focused on customer impact and business needs.
- Use AI tools and coding agents to automate research and improve efficiency.
- Use data warehouse and big-data technologies to support analysis.
- Analyze network protocols and application traffic using network, web, and data analysis tools.
Требования
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security, or networking.
- Knowledge of network architecture, the OSI model, and TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with SQL or data analysis tools such as Kibana or Elastic.
- Experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python.
- Hands-on experience with Wireshark and PCAP analysis or similar tools.
- Ability to define research hypotheses and validate them through detailed technical analysis.
