Join a diagnostics company developing software that supports cancer testing and monitoring. You will build scalable automation frameworks and quality practices for regulated Software as a Medical Device products.
Обязанности
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, libraries, tools, and reusable components
- Create automated tests for APIs, backend services, microservices, integrations, databases, workflows, and end-to-end scenarios
- Implement component, contract, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing strategies
- Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Improve test reliability, maintainability, scalability, diagnostics, and coverage
- Develop utilities for test data management, service virtualization, mocks, simulators, fixtures, and environment management
- Investigate issues across applications, APIs, databases, cloud services, containers, integrations, and deployment pipelines
- Partner with software engineers to improve application testability and automation strategies
- Create reusable frameworks, documentation, examples, and automation standards
- Participate in design and code reviews focused on quality and testability
- Support regulated verification activities and produce appropriate test evidence
- Perform exploratory or manual testing when appropriate
Требования
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6–7 years of experience in software quality engineering, software development, or test automation
- At least 5 years of hands-on automation development using C#, Java, Python, TypeScript, or comparable languages
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks and reusable tools
- Experience testing enterprise web applications, REST APIs, backend services, microservices, integrations, databases, and cloud-native systems
- Strong software development skills, including object-oriented design, modular architecture, debugging, code reviews, version control, and automated quality practices
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD platforms
- Experience with containerized and cloud environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, written communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Experience working in Agile software development environments

- Non-functional testing, including performance, resilience, reliability, and security

- Software as a Medical Device or other regulated software experience
- Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and software validation
- Healthcare, diagnostics, genomics, laboratory systems, or regulated-industry experience
- Experience mentoring engineers
