Senior Mechanical NPI and Manufacturing Engineer

Own mechanical systems engineering, manufacturing transfer, advanced packaging, thermal management, and liquid-cooling integration for high-performance networking hardware. Lead execution from late-stage R&D through volume production at global EMS and ODM facilities.
Обязанности
- Lead NPI transfers to mass production, including BOM verification, drawing release, fabrication readiness, and manufacturing documentation.
- Define assembly parameters, tooling, fixtures, fastening sequences, and process instructions with R&D and manufacturing partners.
- Design and validate packaging, palletization, cushioning, ESD protection, moisture barriers, labeling, and transit qualification.
- Integrate thermal and liquid-cooling systems, including cold plates, manifolds, hoses, quick disconnects, fluid loops, leak detection, and thermal interface materials.
- Qualify mechanical suppliers and conduct factory capability audits across EMS, ODM, fabrication, machining, and rack-manufacturing partners.
- Review first-article inspections, dimensional reports, material certifications, incoming inspection plans, CTQ dimensions, and AQL standards.
- Support production lines, resolve manufacturing issues, lead failure analysis and corrective actions, and manage MRB dispositions.
- Drive cost-reduction redesigns, qualify second sources, and maintain engineering changes, BOMs, CAD revisions, and PLM records.
- Plan and execute mechanical stress, environmental, transit, and reliability testing.
Требования
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 6 years of mechanical engineering experience in NPI, manufacturing, and sustaining environments.
- Experience with networking, telecommunications, server, optical, or data-center hardware.
- Proven ownership of chassis- and rack-level system integration.
- Hands-on familiarity with high-density Ethernet switches, fiber-optic routing, optical transceivers, and high-speed PCB mechanical constraints.
- Practical knowledge of liquid-cooling architectures, including cold plates, manifolds, quick disconnects, fluid routing, and leak mitigation.
- Experience designing custom packaging, optimizing pallets, and qualifying products for transit.
- Expertise in 3D CAD modeling, particularly SolidWorks, and enterprise PLM systems such as Agile or Arena.
- Proficiency with FAI sign-offs, CMM reports, AQL sampling, torque validation, and 8D failure analysis.
- Excellent English technical communication skills and willingness to travel periodically to overseas manufacturing and supplier sites.
