An aerospace and defense company seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to develop, assemble, integrate, test, and improve products and subsystems for manned and unmanned aerial systems. The role combines CAD design with hands-on workshop and field activities in a dynamic R&D environment.
Обязанности
- Design mechanical products, assemblies, and subsystems.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and production drawings in SolidWorks.
- Build prototypes and perform mechanical assembly and system integration.
- Adjust fitment and optimize mechanical designs.
- Plan, lead, and conduct field trials and testing.
- Troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues during field operations.
- Coordinate prototype and production parts with vendors and manufacturers.
- Design parts for 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Optimize products using field-test results, operational data, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with electronics, software, and operations teams.
Требования
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of mechanical development experience.
- Full proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with mechanical design and manufacturing drawings.
- Significant hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and system integration.
- Experience developing prototypes and products in active development.
- Practical experience using workshop machinery, hand tools, and fabrication tools.
- Ability to independently solve complex technical and mechanical problems.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, machine shops, and manufacturing partners.
- Strong practical, analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
