Engineering student supporting projects, data analysis, process improvement, and advanced analytics initiatives at a metals manufacturing plant.
Обязанности
- Support engineering projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Collect and validate engineering data from systems and production processes.
- Perform basic analyses to support operational decision-making.
- Prepare data and assist with artificial intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Support process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement projects.
- Assist with root cause analysis and problem-solving across process, quality, and production activities.
- Prepare engineering summaries, analyses, and presentations.
- Collaborate with process, quality, operations, and other engineering functions.
Требования
- Second- or third-year student in materials, mechanical, chemical, systems, or electronics engineering.
- Strong analytical approach and interest in manufacturing, industrial processes, and data-driven decision-making.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Ability to learn independently and work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Motivation, curiosity, a practical approach, and good communication skills.
Будет плюсом
- Basic experience with Excel, Power BI, Python, business intelligence, or data analysis tools.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.
