Join a lab-focused engineering team responsible for bringing ASIC evaluation boards to life. Own hardware bring-up, validation, qualification, debugging, and corrective actions in collaboration with ASIC, PCB, SI/PI, FPGA, software, test, thermal, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Обязанности
- Own and execute complete evaluation-board hardware bring-up, validation, and qualification activities.
- Perform board power-up and verify power rails, sequencing, clocks, resets, and interfaces.
- Lead hands-on debugging and root-cause analysis of board-level and ASIC-related hardware failures.
- Use schematics, PCB layout data, and manufacturing data to investigate failures.
- Conduct laboratory measurements and correlate results with schematics, layouts, ASIC requirements, and simulations.
- Investigate signal quality, channel loss, reflections, power delivery, and noise issues with signal integrity and power integrity teams.
- Collaborate with FPGA and software engineers during system bring-up and debugging.
- Document procedures, measurements, findings, known issues, workarounds, and solutions.
- Support PCB, SMT, soldering, component, and assembly failure analysis.
- Drive hardware issues through identification, corrective action, implementation, and final validation.
Требования
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on hardware engineering experience focused on board bring-up and debugging of ASIC or FPGA platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience performing hardware measurements and analysis.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, VNAs, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Ability to read and interpret complex multi-sheet hardware schematics and correlate signals with PCB layout.
- Experience with high-speed PCB design principles and signal integrity and power integrity troubleshooting on boards with more than six layers or multi-gigabit interfaces.

- Experience with ASIC evaluation boards, validation platforms, or high-speed networking hardware.
- Familiarity with PCB layout reviews, stack-ups, power planes, and critical routing constraints.
- Experience with signal integrity and power integrity tools for channel-loss, reflection, and power-distribution-network analysis.
- Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing and SMT assembly failure analysis.
- Strong documentation skills, including bring-up procedures, debug reports, and validation artifacts.
