Join a semiconductor systems R&D team designing, optimizing, and scaling the computing infrastructure behind next-generation inspection and metrology products. This is a systems engineering role focused on architecture, performance, reliability, and high-throughput computing rather than IT support.
Обязанности
- Architect, analyze, and optimize computing systems across CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, and networking
- Design and tune high-performance computing and embedded system architectures
- Engineer and support Windows and Linux R&D environments, including virtualization platforms
- Design and optimize compute-cluster networking using TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, Ethernet, InfiniBand, and RDMA
- Build scripting and automation tools for monitoring, configuration, and deployment at scale
- Profile and optimize system performance, resource allocation, and workload distribution
- Lead deployments, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance of R&D compute systems
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and software engineering teams to align infrastructure with product needs
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operating procedures
Требования
- Strong knowledge of CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and networking architecture
- Hands-on Windows and Linux systems engineering experience
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Scripting or programming proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, C#, or similar
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and security architecture
- Experience leading system deployments, upgrades, and maintenance planning
- Ability to create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex system-level issues
- Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
