Join a deep-tech engineering team developing micro-turbine systems for propulsion and onboard power generation. Own mechanical subsystems from concept and detailed design through production, testing, and iteration.
Обязанности
- Design and develop micro-turbines and high-speed rotating systems
- Design shafts, housings, bearing arrangements, seals, interfaces, and precision mechanical components
- Develop mechanical assemblies from concept through detailed design and production release
- Evaluate trade-offs involving loads, tolerances, materials, weight, durability, cost, and manufacturability
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and design documentation
- Collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, and test teams
- Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and design iterations
- Own mechanical subsystems through design and hardware validation
Требования
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering
- At least 4 years of hands-on mechanical design experience
- Experience designing mechanical parts and assemblies from concept through production
- Strong knowledge of mechanical loads, tolerances, fits, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, or similar
- Willingness to work across CAD, workshop, assembly, and test environments
- Strong engineering problem-solving skills and ownership
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup R&D environment
- Good technical English
Будет плюсом
- Experience with rotating machinery, turbomachinery, or high-speed mechanical systems
- Experience with shafts, bearings, power transmission, or gear systems
- Knowledge of GD&T and precision mechanical design
- Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal, or additive manufacturing
- Familiarity with fluid mechanics, thermal systems, or fluid-flow components
- Experience with prototype development, test rigs, and experimental hardware
