Join an R&D engineering team developing software for Linux-based embedded systems. The role focuses on Python development, hardware interfaces, communication peripherals, system services, and technical investigation in a hybrid Ra'anana/Jerusalem position.

- Develop Python software for embedded Linux platforms.
- Design and implement interfaces for hardware peripherals and system components.
- Integrate and validate communication interfaces and device functionality.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve software and hardware integration issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development productivity and software quality.
- Document software designs and implementations.
Требования
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of software development experience involving embedded systems, Python or C++, and tools development.
- Hands-on experience with embedded Linux environments.
- Experience interfacing software with hardware devices and peripherals.
- Ability to interpret hardware specifications and datasheets and implement software APIs.
- Understanding of I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet protocols.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and technical investigation skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify information gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders.

- Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- Experience with FPGA-based systems, PCIe, ADCs, or clocking devices.
- Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or JTAG debuggers.
