- Shape the architecture and long-term technical direction of core services
- Own complex initiatives from problem definition through rollout across teams and systems
- Create execution plans for large, ambiguous problems and drive delivery
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams on architectural decisions
- Balance rapid iteration with long-term system health, scalability, and security
- Improve engineering standards, code quality, observability, and operational excellence
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, technical deep-dives, and pairing
- Evaluate technologies and propose architectural improvements
- Use AI-assisted engineering workflows to increase team impact
Требования
- 8+ years of backend software development experience
- Track record of owning large-scale production systems
- Experience architecting and evolving distributed systems
- Deep experience with cloud-native architectures, including microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong systems thinking across performance, reliability, and security
- Ability to lead complex cross-team initiatives from ambiguity to delivery
- Track record of raising technical standards beyond an immediate team
- Ability to balance technical ownership with business and product outcomes
