Senior Backend Engineer

Join a small, high-ownership backend team building the services, APIs, and data pipelines that power a communications governance and archiving platform for financial institutions.

Обязанности

  • Design and implement new backend flows and services.
  • Maintain, improve, and extend backend services and APIs.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using message brokers.
  • Work with relational, NoSQL, and search data stores.
  • Collaborate with product and architecture teams on scalable, resilient system design.
  • Integrate and develop AI tools for engineering workflows.

Требования

  • At least 4 years of backend engineering experience.
  • At least 1 year of professional Java experience, plus experience with another backend language such as Go, Python, C#, or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with relational, NoSQL, and search data stores, including technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Redis.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and at least one message broker, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with a major cloud platform, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Regular use of AI tools in engineering workflows.
  • Collaborative communication, self-directed learning, and ownership of work from design through delivery.
