Lead data engineers while remaining hands-on in designing scalable data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, deployment environments, and AI-enabled data workflows.
Обязанности
- Manage, mentor, and support the career development of data engineers
- Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and prioritize sprint work
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for large datasets
- Manage development and production environments to support reliable deployment and high availability
- Design and optimize cost-efficient cloud data infrastructure
- Integrate AI models and autonomous agents for pipeline monitoring and data curation
- Balance operational priorities with long-term scalability and cost efficiency
Требования
- At least 5 years of data engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience processing large datasets with PySpark, Spark, or Hadoop
- Advanced Python proficiency
- Experience with AWS or another major cloud infrastructure provider
- Experience with LLMs, AI frameworks, or vector databases for automated data workflows
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience managing complex development and production lifecycles
- Strong communication, mentoring, planning, scoping, and prioritization skills
