Project Manager
Manage custom equipment projects from purchase order through final customer acceptance in the semiconductor and biomedical industries. Coordinate cross-functional teams, develop schedules, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and serve as primary customer contact. Requires strong organizational skills and 2+ years experience in project management or related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from customer purchase order to final acceptance
- Serve as primary contact for stakeholders and customers
- Conduct site visits for project reviews and final sign-off
- Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and other teams
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Facilitate project order change requests
- Present deliverables to clients and manage approvals
- Prepare technical reports and financial documentation
Requirements
- 2+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Gantt charts, etc.)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% and attend off-hours meetings
- Analytical problem-solving ability
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Familiarity with Global Shop Solutions ERP
- Experience with 2-D CAD software (AutoCAD, Draftsight)
- Ability to read PID, electrical, and plumbing schematics
- Semiconductor industry experience
