Project Manager
Lead construction and infrastructure projects through all phases: planning, design, construction, and closeout. Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Serve as client advocate, coordinate teams, and ensure project objectives are met. Requires 5+ years of experience in construction management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in project organization, planning, programming, administration, and design/construction management.
- Manage projects from initiation to closeout using appropriate tools and processes.
- Monitor scope, schedule, budget, and quality to meet or exceed objectives.
- Observe construction to verify schedule adherence and quality control.
- Schedule and lead project meetings, document minutes and action items.
- Act as owner advocate, making recommendations in the owner's best interest.
- Develop and maintain communication plans and reports for stakeholders.
- Assist with contracts, risk register, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate design activities and evaluate design/construction resources.
- Review contractor pricing, change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
- Provide timely reports and notices on project status, risks, and corrective actions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5-10 years of experience in construction management.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet auto insurability requirements.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in teams at different organizational levels.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Self-motivated with good attendance record.
- Able to lead, make decisions, and resolve problems.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours.

- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or training.
- Project Management Software certifications.
